Project for Awesome 2009 Pennies for Peace  Join the awesome that is Project for Awesome 2009 My Project for Awesome video this year highlights "Pennies for Peace" a program within the Non-profit Central Asia Institute-organization, co-founded by Greg Mortenson. Greg wanted to honor his late sister by climbing K2. The expedition failed and he got lost in the mountains. In the remote villag e of Korphe in rural Pakistan, he was greeted and healed and he promised to raise money to build a school for them.
