I have to admit I find the 120Hz LCD TVs a bit annoying and too real but that is something I am going to have to get used to. Well, here is something that will give your iPhone or iPod Touch a 3D look. 3DBoard is an interesting tweak for your iPhone or iPod Touch. It enables your wallpaper to sway, in the background, with your accelerometer while you move the device in your hands. This gives it a 3D look and makes others say WOW. It does look a bit 3D without glasses, very interesting tweak. Another developer released DeepEnd, another tweak that does almost the same thing. Real Racing swept the iOS world when it was released as one of the nicest looking games on the iDevice. The graphics, gameplay, and support of a great company, Firemint, made the game what it is today. Real Racing 2 is now released in the App Store for 9.99. This game is crazy nuts. The graphics will blow you away with details cars and tracks. Finally we get licensed cars including; Ford, Chevy, Mclaren, and more. You are going to have to build your bucks up by racing to actually get the more luxury race cars, but it is all in good fun. Firemint promises over 10 hours of gameplay, and I wouldnt doubt it. Just about 2 hours into the game and I still had 4 more tournaments to race in. Collecting cars is fun, as well as gaining Game Center achievements to show your friends. Online mode works well and is great to play with a few friends. Looking at Real Racing 2 just makes you want to stop and look at how far technology has come. Later this month, the Opera of the Future Group at the MIT Media Lab will premiere Death and the Powers, an opera more than 10 years in the making. Featuring life-sized singing robots and a musical chandelier, the opera could redefine how technology can enhance live performance and help reestablish operas spirit of innovation. Created by composer and MIT Media Lab Professor Tod Machover, the one-act opera will premiere Sept. 24-26 in Monaco the city-states ruler, Prince Albert II, is the honorary patron of the project and will attend the gala opening.
