The brilliant scientist, Dr. Peter Plichta is revolutionizing the entire industry ... He wants to build in the coming years, a real UFO - VTLO flying saucer. The fuel used is composed of sand It is full of space suitability and will be able to fly at a speed of Mach 20th. For this aircraft, he has already filed several patents. - The slider starts vertically like a helicopter - Two opposing Rotor Blades lift him and stabilize its attitude - Is it high enough to close the rotors - A drive block with two pairs of scramjet engines outside - They drive the sliders forward to Mach 20 - In the middle of the drive are three rocket engines for motion in space Watch too GERMAN INVENTOR DR. X-51 Waverider Scramjet hypersonic technology from Pratt Whitney
The X-51A Waverider scramjet has set a record for hypersonic flight, flying more than three minutes at Mach 6, six times the speed of sound. This video clip, released by Pratt Whitney, explains the hypersonic scramjet test flight. Scramjet engines are also being tested by NASA for future space shuttle flights. A X-51A Waverider was released from a B-52 Stratofortress off the southern California coast last month, the Air Force reported on its website. Its scramjet engine accelerated the vehicle to Mach 6, and it flew autonomously for 200 seconds before losing acceleration. At that point the test was terminated. The Air Force said the previous record for a hypersonic scramjet burn was 12 seconds. We are ecstatic to have accomplished many of the X-51A test points during its first hypersonic mission, said Charlie Brink, an X-51A program manager with the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. We equate this leap in engine technology as equivalent to the post World War II jump from propeller driven aircraft to jet engines, Brink said. The Waverider was built for the Air Force by Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne and Boeing. Joe Vogel, Boeings director of hypersonics, said, This is a new world record and sets the foundation for several hypersonic applications, including access to space, reconnaissance, strike, global reach and commercial transportation. Four X-51A cruisers have been built for the Ai...

Russian Super Weapons Hypersonic Aircraft Igla / Armas espaciales Rusas hablado en espa ñol
Russian scramjet / ramjet next gen stealth hypersonic cruise / anti-ship missiles. www.youtube.com A scramjet superweapon supersonic combustion ramjet is a variation of a ramjet distinguished by supersonic combustion. At higher speeds, it is necessary to combust supersonically to maximize the efficiency of the combustion process. Projections for the top speed of a scramjet engine without additional oxidiser input vary between Mach 12 and Mach 24 orbital velocity. First working scramjet GLL Holod in world flies on 28 November 1991 reaching speed mach 5.8. However, the collapse of Soviet Union stopped the funding of the project. After NASAs NASP program was cut, American scientists began to look at adopting available Russian technology as a less expensive alternative to developing hypersonic flight. On November 17, 1992, Russian scientists with some additional French support successfully launched a scramjet engine Holod in Kazakhstan6. From 1994 to 1998 NASA worked with the Russian Central Institute of Aviation Motors CIAM to test a dual-mode scramjet engine and transfer technology and experience to the West. Four tests took place, reaching Mach numbers of 5.5, 5.35, 5.8, and 6.5. The final test took place aboard a modified SA-5 surface to air missile launched from the Sary Shagan test range in the Republic of Kazakhstan on 12 February 1998. According to CIAM telemetry data, first ignition of the scramjet was unsucc...

Scramjet Test
NASA Langley Research Center www.nasa.gov A scramjet supersonic combustion ramjet is a variation of a ramjet distinguished by supersonic combustion. At higher speeds, it is necessary to combust supersonically to maximize the efficiency of the combustion process. Projections for the top speed of a scramjet engine without additional oxidiser input vary between Mach 12 and Mach 24 orbital velocity. The X-30 research gave Mach 17 due to combustion rate issues. By way of contrast, the fastest conventional air-breathing, manned vehicles, such as the US Air Force SR-71, achieve approximately Mach 3.4 and rockets from the Apollo Program achieved Mach 30+. Like a ramjet, a scramjet essentially consists of a constricted tube through which inlet air is compressed by the high speed of the vehicle, a combustion chamber where fuel is combusted, and a nozzle through which the exhaust jet leaves at higher speed than the inlet air. Also like a ramjet, there are few or no moving parts. In particular, there is no high-speed turbine, as in a turbofan or turbojet engine, that is expensive to produce and can be a major point of failure. A scramjet requires supersonic airflow through the engine, thus, similar to a ramjet, scramjets have a minimum functional speed, about Mach 7-8. Thus scramjets require acceleration to hypersonic speed via other means. A hybrid ramjet/scramjet would have a lower minimum functional Mach number, and some source...

X-43A Goes 7000 MPH - The B-52 Mothership Takes Off
www.nasa.gov X-43A Raises the Bar to Mach 9.6 Guinness World Records recognized NASAs X-43A scramjet with a new world speed record for a jet-powered aircraft - Mach 9.6, or nearly 7000 mph. The X-43A set the new mark and broke its own world record on its third and final flight on Nov. 16, 2004. In March 2004, the X-43A set the previous record of Mach 6.8 nearly 5000 mph. The fastest air-breathing, manned vehicle, the US Air Force SR-71, achieved slightly more than Mach 3.2. The X-43A more than doubled, then tripled, the top speed of the jet-powered SR-71. en.wikipedia.org The X-43 is an unmanned experimental hypersonic aircraft design with multiple planned scale variations meant to test different aspects of hypersonic flight. It is part of NASAs Hyper-X program. A winged booster rocket with the X-43 itself at the tip, called a stack, is launched from a carrier plane. After the booster rocket a modified first stage of the Pegasus rocket brings the stack to the target speed and altitude, it is discarded, and the X-43 flies free using its own engine, a scramjet.
