Wireless power transfer Small coil antenna using inductive resonant coupling
A demo for wirless power transfer which is based on inductive resonant coupling. A small coil antenna which has a resonant frequency of 13.56MHz. The coil is designed to be fabricated on any substrates, such as PCB or Pyrex glass. Its quality factor at resonant frequency is around 100, which is very high as a small coil antenna. The transmitter used in demo is Felica TM reader/writer by Sony corp. for more information, please visit my homepage on witricity witricity.tistory.com

Resonant Energy Transfer
Awhile back we were discussing power systems with regards to things like geothermal, solar, HHO, etc and I made this quick video to demonstrate Witricity principles which were first demonstrated by Nicola Tessla at Wardenclyfe tower in New Jersey.

Wireless power transfer, san rafael, mendoza, argentina
This is my proyect of my wireless power transmission via inductive coupling. I use a 555 in astable mode to generate a high frecuency squarewave. There two coils, a primary and secuendary. They ´re equal. Input is 15 volt. The strange thing is that when i disconnect the primary coil, the LED at the secundary coil stills brighting. When im touching the coils with my hands it causes diffrents results, like increseas in the bright of the LED or decreases. The distance is very short but im working on improving these. Its strange too that the transimission is efective at any frecuencys. This is my first try. I will upload a new video when i could improve this.

Don Smith Device Project Part 19 B New Driver testing
Part B ...From the one Hv terminal i have the spark in SERIES with L1, then the air cap is parallel with the HV outputs. Freq in that vid is roughly 50khz...im guessing. waiting for my scope to e repaired. This one is only good for viewing. From my signal gen timer chip I have a 470pf cap with resistance of about 100k, so 2 or 3 of those caps in SERIES will put me at 226khz comfortably without being maxed at the dials.. anyway.. BINGO.... building/rising wave form

Don Smith Device Project Part 19 C New Driver with L1 and L2 Tank Circuits Complete
Completed the Tank circuit for both L1 and L2, the values are not quite correct for L2, .03uf is what i need, but i accidentally used .3uf D So it should get even sweeter than this. Without my good meter ill have to search for resonance now by sweeping thru different frequency ranges, great fun. 226.9khz is the target, so prob 2 or 3 470pf ceramic caps in series should do the trick without being maxed on the dials After that is established, i will do output testing.

Don Smith Device Project Part 20b Revised Schematic, Increased Output, and Capacitor Discharge D
STILL IMAGE OF A CAP DISCHARGE... imageshack.us SCHEMATIC HERE... imageshack.us This was kinda rushed, wanted to have more to show, and thought of more right after, This is no-where near resonance, just used what i had lying around for demo purpose. Plus the output caps are wrong capacitance, but whatev. This has all the virtues of the last video with bell-shaped wave-form, and this time the increased power from deciding to use... ....tada... a thinner L2 half for ...volts, and a thicker L2 for... current, our little electron buddies will figure it out So whether i need to use one direction or another for winding, its simply a matter of mix and matching coil arrangements with speedy quick detach clips And fun to try them all, why the hell not ? I need more caps now

Don Smith Device Project Part 19 New Driver with L1 Tank Circuit
Testing out my new Variable Power and Variable Freq driver i built for the Smith project. I basically built a variable version of Dons NST Using a 555timer with added Lm393 to give a very sharp quality square wave which then triggers the transistors to then drive the ignition coils arranged in anti-parallel, so that that when one is positive, the other is negative, and the spark discharge is between their two HV outputs. The driver minus the power battery all fits in a briefcase, the signal gen is on its own battery so as to not be as vulnerable to damage from back-emf on the transistors. Protection added to the circuit consisting of a neon in series with a 10k 1 watt resistor between the positive and the top of the collectors before connecting to the ignition coils did the trick. So now to figure out the most responsive coil arrangement and tune the secondary to the primary, then we should be on our way to power land.

Don Smith Device Project Part 20c Transient Spikes Powering Load From TOP, down
On the firing of the spark gap, a high value Transient spike enters the coil from Top down, unlike how most wave forms start at 0 then rise... This one starts high...then DROPS DOWN to the neutral point totally backwards everyone This epitomizes and Vindicates Dons theory of the Ambient Background doing the work, not the source. it is only providing the excitation at MOMENT OF THE SPARK. until then it builds to 3 times or greater value that was supplied by the source, then discharges It is at that time that the load recieves this, and then starts all over Coils here are both CW, but only one side hooked up for testing.
