Le réalisateur Oliver Stone en conférence de presse à Alger Le réalisateur américain Oliver Stone a exprimé hier à Alger son soutien au mouvement "Occupy Wall Street-Occupons Wall street", mouvement de protestation contre la haute finance, estimant que la contestation "devrait se tenir à Washington et non pas à New York, pour avoir plus d'impact". le célèbre cinéaste américain a estimé, Dans une conférence de presse tenue à l'occasion de la première édition du Festival international du cinéma d'Alger du film engagé, que le mouvement devrait se tenir à Washington pour "exercer des pressions (efficaces) sur les politiques" et aboutir à l'assainissement du système financier et bancaire américain, à l'origine, depuis 2008, de crises financières qui se sont étendues, depuis, à d'autres parties du monde. Interrogé sur l'impact de la crise financière sur les citoyens américains, Oliver Stone a estimé que "c'est la classe moyenne (américaine) qui en est la plus grande victime, mais (que) rien ne peut faire bouger le système (politique américain)", qu'il juge "non-démocrate, même après l'arrivée de Obama". Xerfi Canal présente l'étude "World Video Game Companies", rédigée par Aurélien Duthoit, directeur d'études Xerfi Global. La partie est-elle déjà terminée pour la France et l'Europe? Le jeu vidéo aujourd'hui, c'est encore et toujours un duopole Japon - Etats-Unis. C'est surtout un immense gâteau, dont l'Europe ne saisit qu'une toute petite part. Les ventes de jeux et de consoles ont représenté en 2010 quelque 50 milliards d'euros dans le monde. 50 milliards d'euros, c'est 4 fois plus que les ventes de musique, et 2 fois plus que les recettes du box office. Il s'agit là d'un paradoxe certain pour la France. La demande locale est extrêmement forte puisque les Français figurent parmi les plus gros joueurs au monde. Une étude du syndicat européen des éditeurs montre ainsi que 38% des Français ont joué au moins une fois au cours des six derniers mois. C'est deux fois plus qu'en Allemagne ou en Italie. Cette proportion atteint même 76% pour les 16-29 ans. Le second paradoxe, c'est que le jeu vidéo est à la croisée de différents métiers dans lesquels la France occupe des positions de premier plan. La conception d'un jeu fait ainsi aussi bien appel à des spécialistes de la programmation qu'à des spécialistes de la création. La France ne manque ni de programmeurs, ni de graphistes, ni de musiciens, mais n'occupe qu'une place très modeste dans le développement de jeux vidéo. Le constat vaut aussi pour l'Europe. Le Japon, les Etats-Unis et l'Europe concentrent près de 90% du marché ...
