I made many many moons ago, back when I still believed in myself and the world It still brings back good memories. Its a little jarring at first, but youll soon get used to the juxtaposition of real and false pretty quickly. The point of the film was to bring unseen things to new eyes- namely, the old beautiful archival footage from various individuals and the prelinger archives, and the work of the demoscene, in combination with an hours worth of music. Its not perfect, but good. This is how the film was meant to be viewed - as a whole - not the disparate viewpieces I uploaded 7 years ago when most video wbesites had a 10 minute film limit. Together it was meant to symbolise the cycle of a day, from dawn till dusk, till dream- the dream section is the best. A számítástechnika, főleg a sokak számára elérhető áron megjelent Commodore 64 számítógépeknek köszönhetően, betört a háztartásokba, tömegek számára nyitva meg ezzel a lehetőséget digitális alkotások létrehozására. De nem csak a már meglévő alkotófolyamatokat ültetették át a számítógépek kezelőfelületeire, hanem teljesen új, mindezidáig kivitelezhetetlen művészeti formák is megjelentek. A számítógépek lehetőséget teremtettek ugyanis arra, hogy az alkotó, fizikai beavatkozás nélkül, csupán a matematika nyelvén kommunikálva, programkódokat írva hozhasson létre képi és hanghatásokat, és kombinálja ezeket a legkülönfélébb audiovizuális hatások elérése érdekében. Ilyen technika alkalmazásával, vagyis számítógépre írt programokként születettek meg a de mok, és velük együtt a demoscene nevű szubkultúra.
