Concert in the Park
2011 Mothers Day Concert in the Park with SDSUs School of Music and Dance and the Kiwanis Club of San Diego. The 2012 Concert in the Park will be held on Saturday, May 5 at 5 pm at the Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park. The concert is free. This years concert will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a program of Latin American favorites performed by the SDSU Jazz Orchestra and Chamber Choir.

Lindy Focus X - Tri-Swing Finals - Mikey & Nikki
The Tri-Swing Tournament was an amazing all encompassing swing dance contest that took place at the annual event in Asheville, NC called Lindy Focus. Contestants were judged on three styles of Swing dance, Balboa, Blues, and Lindy Hop The finals were danced to the musical styling of Jonathan Stout and his Campus Five. Thanks to the amazing job of the video crew, the videos of the camp were on YouTube with in 24 hours. Jumptown Swing Dancing to Youre the Cream in my Coffee, Garema Place, Canberra ACT
Looks like great fun Their website is www.jumptown.org and on Facebook its www.facebook.com They are a Canberra based club of people who love old-fashioned Lindy Hop, Blues, Balboa and other dance styles from the 1920s through to the 1940s, and regularly put on social events as well as offering classes to learn the various styles. Yes, its coming back Max, featured in a video I uploaded a few months ago, plays his Fender Telecaster at some of those events. Maybe theyre connected with some Flash-Mob people, too.The song is called Youre the Cream in my Coffee recorded by Red Hot Rhythmmakers on their album RHYTHM OF THE DAY www.redhotrhythmakers.com This video was shot in the early afternoon of Saturday 28th of May, 2011, and is one of my favourites of my own videos for the atmosphere. The Miracle of Morgans Creek 1944 Swing Footage plus Additional Cut Footage
A Swungover tm clip combining the swing dance footage from the film Miracle of Morgans Creek with the cut Waist Down Footage recently discovered. Dancers in the film include Bob Ashley, Don Gallaher, Connie Wydell, and Jack Arken. We are still trying to identify the followers involved. A mysterious dancer in the waist down section doing Balboa, Bal-Swing, and Lindy Hop has a very similar style to Willie Desatoff, though it is unconfirmed if he is the dancer.
