Now "Chaparrito Behind the Wheel" is the true title to this story, the Allied Waste is just a tag or attention grabber. This video is a tribute to my trash driver So for all you subscribers of mine and that follow my updates of the CNG taking over my precious diesel fleet, the process is complete. All the trucks in the home city now run on Compressed Natural Gas. These trucks were rolled out a year ago (Wow time flies) and my trash driver and his fantastic truck, I actually like this truck and I'm glad to have it on my route. Mainly because these were the last trucks that Republic put Allied put on their trucks before turning into Republic. Anyways, for all you fluent Spanish Speakers such as me....... You'll notice that part of my title is in Spanish; well the way I have conversations with the drivers and get to know them is talking to them in Spanish. Only about 3 I talk to English to because they understand, but anyways..... for all you Spanish Speakers "Chaparrito" in English means........ shortie. Hahahahaha well all the drivers that I talk to they refer to my trash driver as Chaparrito, and Its true, notice how short but awesome he is, I laugh because all you see is the top of his head behind the wheel when I do a front shot. So here's another vid with the Parkzone Stryker F-27Q running on 4S. This time I tried to get some low passes in just to emphasize the raw speed of this thing. I'm sure there's faster stuff out there, but in my hangar (such as it is) this will be the fastest thing for me - for awhile! ;-) The best part is no more tosses, questionable takeoffs... just crank up the throttle and it'll practically launch itself! [note: side arm style is recommended so you don't nick your fingers - or worse with the belly toss recommended in the book]. Anyway... anyone who can competently fly stock on 3S and is ready for some more of that initial 'thrill' the Stryker first gave them should definitely ramp it up to 4S. See my next vid for my setup.
