The film exposes the sheer terror encountered by the approximately 20000 dolphins that are annually trapped in a cove and then murdered for meat in Taiji, Japan. Some of the captured dolphins however are kept alive and sold to aquariums, zoos and so-called amusement parks. Ric O'Barry was once a dolphin trainer for the popular American TV show "Flipper," however he had a change of heart when he saw the terrible emotional and physical toll that life in captivity has on these sensitive and intelligent beings. Dolphins have a very large cerebral cortex and an associational neocortex of significant size. They have an impressive cognitive capacity. HD :) HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Hopefully 2012 will be better than 2011. I have a good feeling about it. Hopefully I am going to do a diploma in horse studies at one of the best equestrian colleges in England. I have a riding test for it in a couple of months and I'm soooo nervous because I'm probably not good enough haha. But my mum said I might be allowed to go riding twice a week before it. Yay :) Also my family's got tickets to a round of the show jumping Olympics in London. So if all goes well it could be a really good year! Anyway I finally got new clips. I hadn't got any for ages because my mum went shopping and couldn't film then I got ill and missed a lesson then I forgot my camra then I forgot to put the battery in my camra and then last week we went on a hack. So this week I finally got loads of new clips on Romany who I seriously want to buy or adopt right now (though I'm not sure we'd be a great pairing, we're both clumsy and award and he has massive feet and I have tiny feet that haven't grown since I was 10...) and was inspired to finally finish this video :) I hope everyone had a brilliant Christmas, I finally got my own riding hat and other riding stuff which was cool and I hope you all have an amazing new year ♥ Natalie xx

© Josh Brannon This video clip shows a beautiful jaguar grooming herself on a riverbank in the Brazilian Pantanal -- a region in western Brazil, on the border with Bolivia and Paraguay, that is home to the world's largest wetland and the highest density of jaguars. Panthera's field staff are working on the ground in the Pantanal with local ranchers to show how ranching and jaguar conservation can co-exist in this spectacular landscape. Showing local ranchers how to improve their livestock husbandry techniques, including building predator-proof corrals for their cattle, is just one way in which Panthera's field staff are working to protect the jaguar and mitigate human-jaguar conflicts in the region.
