These guys normally get about three and a half to almost four feet in length. This is a male. Their care is really simple. You want a cage big enough to accommodate their size. You also want to keep a basking spot of about 95 to 105 degrees for them. You want a good size water bowl, a hiding spot. They are most terrestrial. They are not really big climbers. This guy eats things like mice. You can do insects, roaches, worms. In the wild, they do eat other things like lizards, small mammals. They have got a great temperament.

Exotic Pets - Burmese Python - as part of the series on pets and animals by GeoBeats. Hi. I am Bryan from Exotic Pets here in Las Vegas, Nevada. First up, we have a Burmese Python. Burmese Pythons are from southeast Asia. These guys live out in the grasslands, out in the dry grass and in the marshes, and they do have striking colors, but this color is all for camouflage. They eat rodents. They start out eating small rodents and as they grow, they get to larger animals. You have to keep in mind when you are maintaining a snake like this, this is small right now. She will get much larger. She will actually achieve a size of about 18 to 22 feet and can weight up to 200 pounds. These snakes require a lot of care when you handle them. Right now she is pretty small, so it is not so hard. When these guys get over 10 feet, I recommend always having somebody around whenever you have to pull the snake out, hold it. When you get an enclosure for this snake, what you want to do is to try and get as big an enclosure as you can start out with because once they are full grown, minimum size enclosure will be about 6 feet long by about 3 or 4 feet deep and 2 feet high. These guys are very, very well mannered. One of the ways to keep your snake well mannered is to handle it a lot. The more you handle your snake, the less often it gets fidgety and fussy like she is doing now.

Boo-Boo, a Dog Fostered by FAIR
Boo-Boo is a dog being assisted by the wonderful pet rescue organization FAIR, the Foundation for Animals In Risk in Tucson, Arizona. He is famous locally for having been rescued by a passerby after being used as dogfighting bait and then shot. The Pima County Sheriffs Department actually got involved in his case due to the criminal element in it. Thanks to FAIR, he has received plenty of medical care and is healing nicely, even after having to undergo a partial leg amputation. Exotic Pets - African Pixie Frog
Exotic Pets - African Pixie Frog - as part of the series on pets and animals by GeoBeats. Here I have got an African Pixie Frog. This is a monster of one. We usually sell these as babies and half of the time we do not ever seen them after they get this big. He is probably about 10 inches across. You can keep him in a 30 gallon enclosure. I would keep him at temperatures between 75 and 82 degrees. This guy is eating mice right now, mice and large roaches. As a baby, he will be eating crickets, small roaches, meal worms, but after he is about this big, they are not going to feed the guy anymore. For a 30 gallon aquarium, I would sub-strata of a mixture of between coconut soft and moss for humidity. Give him a nice big hiding spot and a water bowl that is the size of a water bowl, probably about a 12 across ceramic dish would work great.

These little ones are just a couple out of a handful of raccoon families who enjoy stopping by to play -- occasionally with our cats through the window - and lounge on our large terrace. Black Cats Are Awesome
Because I like cats and making videos I started uploading Shorty to YouTube thinking others might enjoy her as much as I do. But my friend said I should get a different cat because you cant really see Shortys face and people like other cats better than black cats. Since then Ive been trying to prove him wrong. Raccoon Love
This is Baby Bear and Peanut who are friendly adults that has been coming around occasionally together since Memorial Day 2011. Their favourite places are to lounge on our terrace and share the dining chair. Tonight was the first time Ive captured on video of them both performing their grooming rituals and what appears to be possibly a moment of amorous PG behaviour too.
