LUCKY - IDA346844 I am a neutered male, red merle and white Catahoula Leopard Hound mix. The shelter thinks I am about 1 year and 7 months old. I have been at the shelter since Apr 18, 2011. ***Im a Lonely Heart pooch You can adopt me for only 35*** Im already Microchipped Ever since I was a little pup, I was living in a wonderful home that I thought was going to be furr-ever. My previous owners started to bring more and more furry creatures into the home and I was not getting along with them. They decided the best thing to do was bring me to the Humane Society, which I thought was good because I need all the love and attention to myself. Now, I am here and ready to open up my heart to a new furr-ever family that will love me for the rest of my lifetime My ideal future home is one where I can be a huge part of the family. I will love to be kept safely indoors just so I dont miss anything important. I need to go to a home where I can be the only animal. I am already potty trained, and know how to Sit, Lay Down, Come, and Stay. I will love to definately learn more tricks, and dogy training classes will help do so. It will also help intensify our bond. Long walks and trips to the doggy park will sure help burn off my energy. Provide me with lots of safe toys to chew on and ruff around with. I am a huge sucker for rope toys and stuff animals. If you feel like I am the right addition to your family and youre ready...

Hound Dog EAMT Rescue - Wallow Fire Relief Efforts
Our Emergency Animal Medical Technicians and a team of specialists, including a veterinarian, three vet techs and five shelter and large animal specialists were deployed to Show Low and St Johns to assist with the Wallow Fire relief effort. This video shows a group of hound dogs rescued by our EAMTs - 7 dogs and 5 puppies. They were transported to our emergency animal shelter and examined by our veterinary staff in Show Low.
